The cemetery for the coal mining town of Dawson has grave markers reflecting the diverse immigrants which came to this country seeking a better life, and which fueled America's industrial development. The hundreds of identical crosses mark the graves of miners killed in mine accidents in 1913 and 1923. Dawson Cemetery was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on April 09, 1992.
