Established in 1846. A combination of Mount Carmel Academy and Cathedral School. Operated by the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist Parish in the Diocese of Lafayette. Affiliated with the Sisters of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and the De La Salle Christian Brothers. A tradition in excellent Catholic education.
