In a cabin here the escort with the body of the Boy Hero of the Confederacy stayed overnight while returning to his home in Smyrna, Tenn., for burial. A member of Coleman's Scouts, Army of Tennessee, he had been executed by the Federal commander at Pulaski, Nov. 27, 1863. Erected by Tennessee Historical Commission.
