In a house in this locality lived this Revolution ary veteran, who came from Rockingham County, Va. His nephew, Thomas, and wife Nancy Hanks Lincoln, later to become the parents of Abraham Lincoln, spent the winter of 1808-09 here. Isaac died in 1816.
