The Colorado Platequ extends across northwestern New Mexico into northeastern Arizona, southeastern Utah, and southwestern Colorado. A colorful landscape of mesas, and canyons underlain by natural mineral, oil, and gas resources locked in sedimentary strata deposited millions of years ago.
