    Listed in the National Register of Historic Places
Constructed in 1914, it was designated by Atanacio Montoya, a progressive educator who introduced many reforms into early 20th century rural schools. This school for the Village of Armijo until 1948 incorporated architectural features that were considered quite innovative and advanced for its time.

Old Armijo School was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on September 16, 1982.
